About the Organization
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is a leading non-profit organization working to promote education and lifelong learning across Pakistan. The organization is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to support infrastructure rehabilitation and construction supervision projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure rehabilitation, construction supervision, or related projects.
Experience in education sector infrastructure or emergency response projects will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site assessments and oversee infrastructure rehabilitation activities.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and technical reports.
Supervise contractors and ensure project quality standards are met.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Coordinate with school communities, stakeholders, and project teams.
Support implementation of inclusive and disaster-resilient infrastructure practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
β Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction practices. β Experience in school infrastructure rehabilitation projects. β Proficiency in site assessments, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation. β Ability to manage contractors and ensure quality control. β Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills. β Knowledge of gender-responsive, inclusive, and disaster-resilient infrastructure standards.
