About the Role
Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Officer SME to build and manage relationships with Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) clients. The selected candidate will play a key role in business development, loan portfolio growth, customer acquisition, and maintaining high service standards while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Execute approved sales and service plans to achieve branch growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and field visits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME customers.
- Promote banking products and services while ensuring ethical sales practices.
- Achieve assigned sales targets through genuine customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
- Formulate and implement marketing strategies to expand customer reach.
Credit Assessment & Loan Management
- Evaluate customer profiles using the Five C’s of Credit.
- Conduct customer visits and physical verifications before loan processing.
- Explain product features, terms, and conditions to prospective clients.
- Process loan applications in compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Monitor customer repayment behavior and ensure timely loan recoveries.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
Customer Service & Compliance
- Ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to fair treatment policies.
- Handle customer documents responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
- Guide customers to use official bank channels for repayments and transactions.
- Report any suspected fraud, irregularities, or potential losses to management.
- Ensure compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and internal SOPs.
- Safeguard the bank’s reputation by following internal controls and risk management practices.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with SME clients.
- Conduct regular customer meetings and follow-ups as per product guidelines.
- Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements to products and services.
- Maintain weekly field activity plans and performance reports.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- MBA or equivalent qualification will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in banking, microfinance, SME financing, sales, or relationship management.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer relationship management expertise.
- Sales and business development capabilities.
- Credit assessment and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of banking operations and SME financing.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
