Position Summary
METRO Pakistan is seeking a proactive and experienced Supervisor – Administration & Logistic Centre to oversee daily operational activities, staff management, merchandising standards, customer service excellence, inventory control, and workplace compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high service standards, and supporting business growth through effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Merchandising
- Ensure effective merchandising, store layout, and customer traffic flow to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain attractive product displays and uphold store presentation standards.
- Monitor stock availability and ensure proper product placement.
Sales & Promotional Activities
- Execute sales promotions and marketing campaigns to enhance product visibility and brand awareness.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and recommend improvements.
- Support initiatives that drive customer engagement and sales growth.
Customer Service Management
- Supervise customer service activities to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Resolve customer concerns efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain service quality standards across all operational areas.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, motivate, and supervise operational staff.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance staff skills and operational efficiency.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate workforce planning.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels, shrinkage, and inventory accuracy.
- Control old, negative, and zero stock situations.
- Ensure timely execution of partial inventory counts and stock audits.
Compliance, Safety & Administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and security procedures.
- Maintain staff and product hygiene standards.
- Promote workplace discipline and operational excellence.
- Conduct customer visits and support relationship-building initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Intermediate qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in retail, administration, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
