Job Summary
Indus Hospital & Health Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager – Human Resources to manage employee relations, workplace compliance, disciplinary processes, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring fair employee treatment, and supporting organizational values through effective employee relations management.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters across the campus.
- Address employee grievances promptly while maintaining fairness, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Support workplace conflict resolution through counseling, mediation, and other appropriate interventions.
Investigations & Compliance
- Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct, policy violations, and workplace concerns.
- Prepare investigation reports and recommend disciplinary actions in accordance with organizational policies and Indus Code of Ethics (ICoE) determinations.
- Coordinate and facilitate domestic inquiries, disciplinary committee proceedings, and anti-workplace harassment committee activities while ensuring proper documentation and due process.
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions and ensure compliance with investigation outcomes.
Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, grievances, disciplinary actions, and related documentation in both digital and personnel files.
- Ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of Employee Relations policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and documentation.
Verification & Background Checks
- Conduct employee degree verification through approved third-party vendors and ensure timely completion of the process.
- Perform employee reference checks and maintain complete records of verification activities.
Policy Awareness & Organizational Support
- Stay updated on labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular Indus Code of Ethics (ICoE) awareness sessions for employees.
- Collaborate with HR teams to promote a culture of inclusion, accountability, respect, and ethical conduct.
- Prepare periodic reports on employee relations cases, disciplinary trends, and employee engagement outcomes.
Coordination with Stakeholders
- Refer financial embezzlement cases to Internal Audit and patient-related complaints to the Quality & Monitoring Directorate, while providing support when required.
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure effective resolution of employee and organizational concerns.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor in line with the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
