Nestlé Pakistan is looking for a passionate and results-oriented Nutrition Specialist – Infant Nutrition to join its Karachi team. This role is ideal for professionals who are committed to advancing infant and maternal nutrition through ethical, science-based engagement with healthcare professionals.
As a Nutrition Specialist, you will act as a trusted scientific resource for doctors, pediatricians, and paramedical staff, delivering evidence-based nutritional information while ensuring strict compliance with the WHO Code and local regulations governing breast milk substitutes.
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Professional Engagement
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including physicians, pediatricians, and paramedical staff.
- Conduct structured scientific detailing sessions on infant nutrition products and solutions.
- Position Nestlé as a credible and trusted source of infant and maternal nutrition knowledge.
- Deliver accurate, evidence-based product information in line with company policies and compliance requirements.
Territory & Business Management
- Execute territory plans to maximize healthcare professional coverage and engagement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and prescribing patterns to identify opportunities and provide insights.
- Support ethical business growth within the legitimate prescription space where breastfeeding is not possible.
- Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of company assets and promotional materials.
Scientific & Educational Activities
- Plan and conduct scientific presentations, speaker programs, roundtable discussions, and educational sessions.
- Support participation in medical conferences, seminars, and professional healthcare forums.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication objectives and field execution strategies.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of healthcare professional interactions using CRM systems.
- Prepare timely reports and updates on territory performance and engagement activities.
Compliance & Ethical Standards
Nestlé places the highest priority on ethical conduct and responsible nutrition communication.
- Strict adherence to the WHO Code and Local Code of Breast Milk Substitutes is mandatory.
- No direct or indirect business engagement with pregnant women or mothers of infants.
- All activities must fully comply with Nestlé policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in nutrition detailing, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare professional engagement.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and scientific detailing abilities.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Experience organizing scientific meetings, medical events, or educational activities.
