METRO Pakistan is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Supervisor – Detergents & Toiletries to oversee daily department operations, inventory management, merchandising standards, and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will support departmental growth by maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability, leading store associates, and contributing to sales target achievement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Floor Manager (FM) in stock ordering and maintaining optimum inventory levels.
• Lead and supervise Store Associates in merchandising, shelf management, stock control, and department cleanliness.
• Support the department in achieving assigned sales targets.
• Ensure department mechanization and readiness before store opening.
• Maintain product presentation according to approved planograms.
• Adhere strictly to company SOPs and operational standards.
• Ensure professional conduct and proper workplace attire.
• Monitor product expiry dates and coordinate timely actions with store associates.
• Manage stock replenishment and shelf availability.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns effectively.
• Maintain 100% cleanliness standards across the department and shelves.
• Contribute to annual new customer development targets.
• Ensure maximum product availability and shelf viability.
• Minimize shrinkage and inventory losses within the department.
• Reduce product expiries through proactive stock monitoring.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members by identifying strengths and improvement areas.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or
• Intermediate qualification with relevant experience.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of relevant retail, wholesale, or departmental supervision experience.
