The Section Executive – Security is responsible for ensuring effective security operations across the assigned store/site. The role focuses on safeguarding assets, preventing loss, maintaining compliance with safety protocols, and supervising security personnel to ensure a secure working and customer environment.
Job Requirements
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum Intermediate (12 years of education) required
Certification in Security Management, Safety, or a related field will be an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office applications and report writing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience
3–5 years of experience in retail security, loss prevention, or a related field
Proven experience in supervising security staff and managing security operations
Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems, access control systems, and incident reporting
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and enforce store security policies and standard operating procedures
Supervise security guards and ensure proper deployment across assigned areas
Conduct regular security checks, inspections, and risk assessments
Monitor CCTV systems and investigate suspicious or unusual activities
Prevent theft, fraud, shoplifting, and other security breaches
Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors
Investigate incidents and prepare detailed incident reports with recommendations
Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when required
Maintain accurate records of incidents, daily logs, and security reports
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency protocols
Conduct security awareness sessions for store staff
Support loss prevention strategies and inventory protection initiatives
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and customer safety concerns
Assist management in strengthening overall security and risk mitigation systems
Perform any additional security-related duties as assigned
