Position Overview
Unilever is seeking a highly creative and consumer-focused Global Assistant Brand Manager – Glow & Lovely (GAL) to support the growth of its global face moisturization portfolio. This role will be responsible for developing winning product propositions, consumer-centric communication strategies, and impactful innovations that drive brand performance across key international markets.
The ideal candidate combines strong brand-building capabilities with project management expertise and a passion for understanding consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Mix Development & Portfolio Management
- Lead the development of product propositions, concepts, claims, and communication strategies for the global face moisturization portfolio.
- Collaborate with business units and agency partners to create compelling marketing mixes.
- Support packaging development and communication planning aligned with consumer needs.
- Conduct and leverage consumer testing to identify high-impact business opportunities.
Consumer Insight & Market Understanding
- Place consumer needs at the center of brand strategy and execution.
- Identify market-specific insights and translate them into relevant claims, products, and campaigns.
- Drive growth through deep understanding of beauty trends, consumer behavior, and regional nuances.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage innovation and communication projects from concept to launch.
- Partner with teams across R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure seamless project execution.
- Coordinate with external agencies, research partners, and design teams.
- Monitor timelines, deliverables, budgets, and performance metrics.
Innovation & Communication Execution
- Develop and execute communication assets, creative briefs, and campaign materials.
- Work with creative agencies and production teams to bring brand strategies to life.
- Support product innovation through close collaboration with R&D teams.
- Lead packaging design initiatives that reflect consumer preferences and channel requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, or a related field.

- Strong passion for branding, beauty, aesthetics, and consumer experiences.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
