Indus Hospital & Health Network is looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager β Supply Chain to oversee the procurement of medicines and pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support uninterrupted hospital operations through efficient supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure medicines and pharmaceutical items accurately and on time.
- Assess procurement requirements for medical supplies and materials.
- Prepare, verify, and process purchase orders according to SOPs and approved quotations.
- Ensure material availability at the most competitive cost within the required timelines.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors and internal departments.
- Monitor and review purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain the approved vendor database.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and after-sales support with suppliers.
- Maintain procurement records and prepare comparative statements whenever required.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Pharm-D (Required)
- MBA or additional certifications in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 4β5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.
- Hospital procurement experience will be preferred.
