The Bank of Punjab (BOP), one of Pakistan's leading commercial banks with over 35 years of excellence and a network of 900+ branches nationwide, is seeking an experienced and performance-driven professional for the position of Senior Manager – Cyber Security Assurance. This is an excellent opportunity to lead cybersecurity audit initiatives and contribute to strengthening the bank's IT governance and risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing risk-based Information Systems (IS) audit plans.
• Lead cybersecurity assurance and IT audit engagements within approved timelines and budgets.
• Assess the bank's cybersecurity framework in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Review information security controls, IT systems, and technology governance practices.
• Validate audit observations raised by internal, external, and regulatory audits.
• Allocate audit resources based on risk assessments and engagement priorities.
• Conduct meetings with management to discuss audit findings and recommend practical solutions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and follow-up of audit recommendations.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management and the Board Audit Committee.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to audit staff and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, and best practices.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
• Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in:
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Computer Science (CS)
  • Software Engineering (SE)
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CEH, CISM, or ISO 27001 will be preferred.

Experience

• 7–9 years of relevant Banking or Non-Banking experience in Information Systems Audit, Cyber Security, IT Risk Management, or related fields.

Age Limit

• Up to 55 years as of the application closing date.
