Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Officer – Deposit to strengthen its Business Banking team. The selected candidate will be responsible for deposit mobilization, acquiring new customers, managing client relationships, achieving liability portfolio targets, and promoting the bank's deposit products while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute customer acquisition strategies to grow the bank's deposit portfolio.
• Build and maintain CASA (Current & Savings Accounts) and Term Deposit portfolios.
• Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deposit targets.
• Develop and manage a retail deposit mobilization team through Freelancers and Brand Ambassadors.
• Maintain the required CASA and Term Deposit portfolio mix.
• Generate fairly priced deposits to support liability growth.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Coordinate effectively with branch teams and internal departments.
• Ensure consistent New-to-Bank (NTB) account opening and deposit mobilization.
• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable financial solutions.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell banking products.
• Monitor competitor activities to retain and expand the customer base.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Good understanding of Deposit Banking products.
• Strong knowledge of CASA fundamentals and liability growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to achieve sales targets and work in a performance-driven environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
