Job Description
The Bank of Punjab is seeking an experienced professional to join its Global Trade Operations Division as Manager Export – Corporate Trade Unit South. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing export trade operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal banking procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Process foreign and inland collection documents in compliance with SBP regulations and customer instructions.
Scrutinize shipping and financial institution documents, identify discrepancies, and obtain customer acceptance where required.
Verify transport documents, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, endorsements, and conduct sanctions screening (OFAC/TBML).
Coordinate with customers, Relationship Managers, Treasury, and correspondent banks for export proceeds realization and FX settlements.
Process advance export payments after verifying documentation, sanctions screening, and system postings.
Record transactions accurately in Flexcube and ensure recovery of applicable charges.
Supervise export bill negotiations, discounting, settlements, and reconciliation of GL accounts.
Maintain communication with exporters, customers, and foreign banks to ensure timely submission of shipping documents and settlement of outstanding export bills.
