Job Overview

An excellent opportunity is available for a Finance Officer to join the Finance Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for processing payments, maintaining financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting day-to-day financial operations while adhering to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and execute vendor and internal payments through bank transfers, cheques, and online payment channels.
• Ensure all payments are processed accurately and within established timelines.
• Verify payment requests, supporting documents, and financial records before execution.
• Maintain organized records of all payment transactions and financial documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve payment-related queries and issues.
• Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely disbursement of funds.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance payment processing efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure accurate deduction and timely submission of withholding taxes in accordance with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and applicable provincial tax authorities (e.g., SRB and PRA) regulations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department.

Requirements

• M.Com or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or payment operations.
• Sound understanding of financial transactions, tax regulations, and payment processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial/accounting software.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
