Location: Bela (District Lasbella), Gujrat, Hangu, Karachi, Kotli AK, Lahore, Wah Cantt, Winder (District Hub)
Reporting To: Branch Operations Manager

The bank is currently seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for the position of Teller (OG-III / OG-II) in Aitemaad Islamic Banking.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by HEC Pakistan
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree, Islamic Banking certification, diploma, or relevant qualification will be preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant banking experience

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations (PRs) related to cash management
  • Good understanding of branch banking operations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent cash handling skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including:
    • MS Outlook
    • MS Excel
    • MS Word
    • MS PowerPoint

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage cash from Branch Operations Manager / Supervisor and maintain denomination records
  • Handle customer deposits and withdrawals
  • Process remittances, utility bill collections, government receipts/payments, and agency collections
  • Ensure proper vault management and secure handling of cash keys
  • Forward high-value cheques for authorization before disbursement
  • Count and sort cash as per SBP directives and process deposit slips accurately
  • Process fund transfer and ATM-related transactions with proper balancing
  • Assist customers with cash-related requests such as currency note exchange
  • Maintain excellent customer service and ensure minimal complaint handling within TAT
  • Prepare cash books and reconcile cash with system-generated reports
  • Balance cash vouchers and post all cash-related transactions in the system
  • Promote and cross-sell bank products and services
  • Ensure availability of fresh cash for customers as per SBP guidelines
  • Reconcile sorted, unsorted, defective, and new currency notes before vault placement
  • Report suspicious or unusual cash activity (STR) immediately
  • Reconcile all related GL accounts with actual records
  • Maintain registers, files, and documentation related to daily cash operations
  • Ensure timely ATM replenishment and uninterrupted ATM functionality during weekends and holidays
  • Address internal and external audit observations related to cash management
  • Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, SOPs, and Shariah compliance requirements
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors
