Position Details

Job Title: Credit Operations Officer (OG-II / OG-I)
Reports To: Branch Operations Manager
Number of Positions: 01

Educational / Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by HEC Pakistan
  • Candidates holding a Master’s degree, Islamic Banking certification, diploma, or relevant qualification will be preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of banking experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in credit, advances, or retail banking

Required Skills / Expertise

  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge of banking products, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database systems
  • Sound understanding of Islamic Banking
  • Strong selling and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet targets

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accounting entries related to disbursement and transaction adjustments are processed according to approved terms and procedures
  • Execute accruals, repricing, profit calculations, rental realization, monitoring, and correspondence related to advances and corporate Sukuk at branch level
  • Ensure all disbursements remain within approved limits
  • Maintain posting of all entries in ALMANAC (LMS) and PD Teller while balancing all advances and investments in physical registers
  • Coordinate with customers and stakeholders (RM / CAD) regarding due payments, recoveries, aging, profit, rentals, and Takaful / insurance matters
  • Safeguard financing and security documents, including original insurance policies, during interim custody
  • Execute entries related to advances and investments as advised by Pool Management Division (AIBG)
  • Ensure error-free balancing and reconciliation of all credit activities
  • Support internal and external auditors during audits and provide required reports
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements related to advances and investments, including ECIB and F-256 reports
  • Maintain confidentiality and transparency in handling credit portfolios
  • Resolve customer queries and ensure service standards are met
  • Maintain shadow credit files and comprehensive documentation for internal, external, financial, management, Shariah, and SBP audits
  • Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, SOPs, and Shariah requirements
  • Prepare monthly GL certificates and obtain approvals from RMs
  • Address audit observations and implement corrective measures with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all processes are completed within the required turnaround time (TAT)
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors
