Job Summary

National Foods Limited is looking for a results-driven Zonal Sales Manager to lead sales operations across the Gujrat zone. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), strengthening distributor and channel partnerships, expanding market presence, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies aligned with company objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve zonal revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to execute regional sales plans.
  • Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of Territory Sales Managers.
  • Track sales performance and ensure timely achievement of assigned targets.
  • Coordinate with Sales Support and Marketing teams to optimize route-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor zonal budgets and analyze actual spending against planned budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and channel partners.
  • Evaluate distributor performance through regular reviews and market visits.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market coverage in underserved areas.
  • Support negotiations on pricing, sales agreements, and distributor contracts.
  • Work with Marketing and Quality/Innovation teams to evaluate product performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and address performance gaps.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and present business insights to management.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree (Graduate) from a recognized institution.
  • 4–6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong leadership and distributor management experience.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple territories and achieve sales objectives.
