Nishat Chunian Limited is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager Electrical & Instrumentation to oversee electrical, instrumentation, and control systems at its HTD Site. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the maintenance and operation of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across the plant.
Ensure all electrical and instrumentation activities comply with safety regulations and operational standards.
Operate, troubleshoot, and optimize Honeywell DCS and Siemens PLC systems.
Perform installation, calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation system faults to minimize downtime.
Support plant performance improvement initiatives by providing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
Coordinate maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
BS/BSc/MS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in power plants or heavy industrial electrical systems.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in coal-fired power plants.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, instrumentation, PLC, and DCS systems.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
