About the Role

Muslim Hands Pakistan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a UN-supported project focused on improving climate-resilient WASH services and strengthening community resilience in District Pishin, Balochistan.

The successful candidate will oversee project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and donor compliance while ensuring timely delivery of infrastructure and community development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning, implementation, and management.
• Ensure timely execution of activities according to approved work plans and donor requirements.
• Manage Community Action Planning (CAP), WASH interventions, and infrastructure development projects.
• Supervise project teams, including engineers, WASH officers, social mobilizers, and MEAL staff.
• Coordinate with government departments, donors, contractors, and community stakeholders.
• Oversee technical reviews, construction quality, procurement, and contract management.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies, safeguarding, gender inclusion, and accountability standards.
• Lead reporting, documentation, evaluations, learning activities, and project close-out.
• Strengthen community ownership and sustainability of project interventions.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Master's degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 8–10 years of progressive project management experience in humanitarian or development programs.
• Proven experience managing large donor-funded projects, preferably with INGOs or UN-funded infrastructure/WASH projects.
• Experience working in Balochistan, particularly District Pishin, will be highly preferred.

Skills

• Strong project planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract management skills.
• Excellent understanding of project management tools (MS Project, Advanced Excel, etc.).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Urdu, and Pashto.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding, protection, gender inclusion, accountability, and humanitarian programming.
