Insignia is looking for an experienced Sr. Quality Assurance & Control Specialist to oversee quality assurance processes across footwear manufacturing and sourcing operations. The selected candidate will ensure products meet the company's quality standards through inspections, testing, supplier audits, and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Process Management
Manage day-to-day quality assurance activities across local and international footwear vendors.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the sourcing and production lifecycle.
Develop and oversee inspection and testing standards for finished footwear products.
Product Testing & Quality Evaluation
Coordinate with internal testing laboratories for accurate and timely product evaluations.
Verify material quality, durability, construction, and craftsmanship before product release.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and testing dashboards.
Vendor Compliance & Supplier Audits
Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure compliance with Insignia's quality standards.
Evaluate manufacturing capabilities and internal quality control systems of vendors.
Monitor vendor quality performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Investigate product defects, customer complaints, and return trends.
Perform root cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
Work with cross-functional teams to reduce quality issues and improve manufacturing performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management or a related discipline.
Preference will be given to candidates with technical education or experience in footwear manufacturing, product quality, or quality assurance.
Experience
6–8 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
Experience in the footwear or apparel industry will be highly preferred.
