Job Summary
Serena Hotels is seeking a highly experienced Assistant Financial Controller to oversee and manage the hotel's finance and accounts operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards, organizational policies, and statutory regulations while supporting effective financial planning, reporting, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the complete Accounts & Finance Department.
Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and consolidate annual budgets, cash flow, and expense forecasts.
Monitor banking activities and verify monthly bank reconciliations.
Oversee cash management, payments, and financial transactions.
Supervise payroll processing and salary administration.
Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
Prepare financial reports, analysis, and key performance indicators.
Conduct inventory verification and physical stock checks.
Monitor contracts and coordinate timely renewals.
Ensure accurate payment of travel agent commissions.
Analyze Food & Beverage costs and operational expenses.
Review revenue and expense reports for accuracy.
Supervise Income Auditor, Food & Beverage Controller, Cost Controller, Credit Manager, and Accounts Payable functions.
Manage foreign currency transactions and fixed asset records.
Maintain depreciation schedules and internal control procedures.
Perform additional finance-related duties assigned by management.
