Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking an experienced Banking Services Manager to oversee branch operations, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise operational staff, and maintain exceptional customer service standards. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to ensure smooth day-to-day banking activities while minimizing operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead branch operations while ensuring smooth daily banking activities.
- Support the Branch Manager in achieving operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, SOPs, and SBP Prudential Regulations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Monitor staff performance, recommend staff rotation, and ensure adherence to operational controls.
- Maintain dual control procedures and safeguard vault keys, passwords, and confidential banking information.
- Supervise authorization of financial and non-financial transactions.
- Ensure daily balancing of cash, vault, cash book, and operational records.
- Manage account opening operations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Oversee deposits, cash operations, clearing, remittances, HR, credits, JazzCash operations, recoveries, and other banking functions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient branch operations.
- Handle audit observations and ensure timely compliance with Internal, External, and SBP audit requirements.
- Maintain security stationery, passbooks, duplicate keys, PDCs, gold records, and other sensitive banking assets.
- Prepare MIS reports and operational confirmations as required.
- Monitor suspense, shortage, excess, and prepaid expense accounts for accurate reconciliation.
- Ensure staff punctuality, discipline, dress code compliance, and training nominations.
- Manage branch HR and administrative matters.
- Ensure all end-of-day processes, vouchers, and activity reports are completed accurately.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant banking operations experience.
- Strong understanding of branch operations, banking regulations, and risk controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operational functions while maintaining regulatory compliance.
