Job Summary

Faisalabad Serena Hotel is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping Department and ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will oversee departmental operations, budgeting, staff management, quality assurance, and compliance with international hospitality standards while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment throughout the hotel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all housekeeping operations to ensure smooth daily functioning.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping service standards, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare and manage departmental operational and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Plan room maintenance and repair schedules to maximize room availability.
  • Supervise housekeeping staff, assign duties, prepare work schedules, and manage leave planning.
  • Monitor inventory and quality of hotel linen, uniforms, housekeeping supplies, and guest amenities.
  • Coordinate with the laundry department to ensure high-quality laundering and dry-cleaning services.
  • Oversee the maintenance of gardens, indoor/outdoor plants, and floral arrangements.
  • Approve housekeeping products, equipment, and supplier samples that meet quality standards.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, international hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
  • Recommend recruitment, promotions, salary increments, disciplinary actions, and staff development initiatives.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to improve productivity and service quality.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Front Office departments for maintenance and operational support.
  • Conduct market research on housekeeping products, equipment, and suppliers.
  • Supervise pest control, spring cleaning programs, and lost & found procedures.
  • Monitor departmental expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure furniture, guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas remain clean and well-maintained.
  • Support hotel management with additional operational responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Graduation (Bachelor's Degree)

Experience

  • 10–15 years of overall professional experience.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in hotel housekeeping management.
