Nishat Chunian Limited is seeking a qualified Deputy Manager Laboratory to lead laboratory operations at its HTD Site. The role focuses on ensuring accurate testing, maintaining quality standards, and supporting plant operations through reliable laboratory analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and ensure accurate testing of coal, ash, water, and other related samples.
• Monitor coal and water quality while ensuring supplier compliance with quality specifications.
• Provide timely laboratory reports to support operational decision-making.
• Maintain laboratory quality management systems in accordance with ASTM, ISO, and other applicable standards.
• Ensure proper calibration, preventive maintenance, and efficient operation of laboratory equipment.
• Manage laboratory chemicals, consumables, and inventory while maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in power plant operations with hands-on knowledge of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems.
• Strong understanding of laboratory quality control procedures and ASTM/ISO standards.
• Experience in laboratory reporting, testing procedures, and equipment management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team supervision skills.
