Nishat Chunian Limited is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager Operations to oversee power plant operations at its HTD SITE. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Boiler, Turbine & Generator (BTG) and Balance of Plant (BOP) systems while maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of BTG and BOP plant systems.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance.
• Monitor operational parameters through the Distributed Control System (DCS).
• Coordinate with field teams to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Execute plant startups, shutdowns, and emergency procedures according to SOPs.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, operational records, and performance reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Experience

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in power plant operations.
• Practical experience with Boiler, Turbine & Generator (BTG) and Balance of Plant (BOP) systems.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Sound understanding of plant safety procedures and operational standards.
