About the Role
Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a General Banking Officer (OG-III) to deliver exceptional customer service while managing day-to-day branch banking operations. The selected candidate will handle customer accounts, process banking transactions, maintain branch records, support administrative functions, and ensure compliance with banking policies and SBP regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient customer service and resolve customer queries professionally.
Handle account opening, account maintenance, closures, dormancy activation/removal, stop payments, and other non-financial transactions.
Process loan account opening/closure and participate in Gold Loan assessments.
Prepare branch reports and maintain accurate operational records.
Handle customer complaints within defined turnaround times (TAT).
Maintain branch inventory, fixed assets, and security stationery.
Manage cheque books, ATM cards, TDRs, bankers' cheques, and related documentation.
Process clearing instruments and ensure accurate record management.
Support teller operations, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and balancing when required.
Ensure compliance with SBP policies, operational SOPs, and internal controls.
Maintain cash registers, vault records, and daily balancing reports.
Perform any additional operational duties assigned by branch management.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of branch banking operations and banking regulations.
Ability to work accurately under operational deadlines.
