Beaconhouse Newlands Karachi is seeking passionate and qualified MYP Educators (IB MYP Facilitators) to deliver high-quality, inquiry-based learning within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme. The ideal candidate will be committed to student-centered teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB MYP curriculum.
• Design, assess, and moderate student work using MYP assessment criteria.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning units.
• Teach, monitor, and report students' Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents, the MYP Coordinator, and IB stakeholders.
• Support curriculum development and participate in IB evaluation processes.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of IB MYP inquiry-based teaching methodologies.
• Knowledge of IB Approaches to Teaching (ATT) and Approaches to Learning (ATL).
• Experience with criterion-based assessment and rubric development.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and support inclusive learning environments.
• Familiarity with IB platforms such as ManageBac and Toddle.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, mentoring, and classroom management skills.
• IB workshop participation and Personal Project supervision experience will be an advantage.
