About the Role

Lucky Core Industries (LCI) is looking for a Trainee Engineer – E&I (Electrical, Instrumentation & Control) to join its Corporate Technical & Engineering team in Lahore. This opportunity is ideal for fresh Electrical Engineering graduates who want to build a strong career in electrical design, instrumentation, and control systems while working alongside experienced engineering professionals across multiple LCI businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and technical specifications.
• Support preparation of electrical engineering deliverables including layouts, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Review vendor technical data sheets, equipment specifications, and technical proposals.
• Assist in preparing RFQs, evaluating quotations, and supporting technical bid comparisons.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, vendors, and business teams for design and installation activities.
• Support energy optimization initiatives, power factor improvement, and electrical system efficiency projects.
• Learn and follow international engineering standards and electrical safety requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Qualification

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.

💼 Experience

• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with:
  • P&IDs
  • Wiring diagrams
  • Cable routing
  • Earthing/Grounding systems
  • Electrical layouts & Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Knowledge of power system optimization and energy efficiency concepts.
• Willingness to learn IEC, IEEE, NEC standards and electrical design review processes.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
