Position Overview

NBP is hiring a Software Engineer – Digital Onboarding (Backend Developer) at the OG-I / OG-II level. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend applications and APIs while supporting digital banking initiatives through modern software development practices.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants should possess:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university, preferably in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Related discipline
• Candidates with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant professional certifications will be given preference.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in:

• Experience with .NET technologies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining backend services using .NET (C#).
• Building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Writing SQL queries and supporting database development using SQL Server and Oracle.
• Working closely with senior developers to deliver technical solutions.
• Writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Participating in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Performing software testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
• Ensuring application performance, reliability, and quality.
• Identifying and resolving software bugs and technical issues.
• Participating in code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
• Preparing API documentation, technical guides, and user documentation.
• Collaborating with QA engineers, frontend developers, and business analysts.
• Updating, refactoring, and improving existing code.
• Learning and implementing modern .NET technologies and development best practices.
• Performing additional assignments as directed by management.
