Grade: Band-3 to Band-2

The Bank of Punjab (BOP) is seeking an experienced and strategic banking professional to lead its Agriculture Credit Division. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the bank's agricultural financing portfolio, developing growth strategies, strengthening customer relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading nationwide agriculture credit initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Agriculture Credit business strategy aligned with the bank's objectives.
• Grow the agriculture financing portfolio through innovative products and effective sales channels.
• Promote program-based lending solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Identify new business opportunities and structure financing proposals.
• Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Provide financial advisory services and customized banking solutions.
• Coordinate with internal business units to generate quality business leads.
• Ensure achievement of financial and operational performance targets.
• Monitor regional and field team performance and implement corrective measures where necessary.
• Minimize non-performing loans (NPLs) through effective portfolio management.
• Maintain credit discipline in accordance with BOP credit policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and prudential requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 5 years of relevant banking experience in Agriculture Credit or related banking functions.

Age Limit

• Maximum 55 years of age on the application closing date.
