Mercy Corps Pakistan is seeking a motivated HR Assistant to support the Human Resources team with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, documentation, and HR administrative operations. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify, and maintain personnel documents for new hires.
  • Create and manage employee personnel and job files.
  • Update employee records, employment status, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate employee timesheets and maintain attendance records.
  • Assist throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks and required candidate verifications.
  • Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, biometric registration, and joining formalities.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain leave records.
  • Coordinate HR approvals and official correspondence.
  • Scan, dispatch, and maintain HR documentation.
  • Perform additional HR-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Human Resource Management.
  • Basic understanding of HR practices and recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable with the willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
