Nestlé Pakistan is looking for a Nutrition Specialist – Infant Nutrition to join its Karachi team. This role focuses on building professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and providing accurate, science-based information on infant nutrition products while ensuring full compliance with the WHO Code and applicable local regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in nutrition or pharmaceutical detailing who are passionate about improving infant and maternal nutrition through ethical, evidence-based engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and paramedical staff.
- Deliver scientific product presentations and detailing on infant nutrition solutions in accordance with compliance guidelines.
- Promote Nestlé as a trusted provider of evidence-based infant and maternal nutrition information.
- Execute territory coverage plans to maximize engagement and service quality.
- Support ethical business growth within the legitimate prescription segment where breastfeeding is not possible.
- Organize and participate in scientific meetings, educational sessions, presentations, and roundtable discussions.
- Represent the company at medical conferences and professional events.
- Record healthcare professional interactions accurately using CRM systems.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and prescribing patterns to provide valuable market insights.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent communication and execution of business objectives.
- Maintain company assets and promotional materials responsibly.
Compliance & Ethical Standards
Successful candidates are expected to:
- Strictly comply with the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes and all applicable local regulations.
- Follow Nestlé's ethical business practices and corporate policies.
- Avoid any direct or indirect promotional engagement with pregnant women or mothers of infants in a commercial capacity.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or another relevant discipline is preferred.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in nutrition, pharmaceutical detailing, healthcare sales, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies
