Job Details

Job Title: Relationship Manager (OG-III)
Department/Area: Retail Banking
Reporting To: Team Leader
Employer: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP)
Employment Type: Contractual
Contract Duration: 3 years, extendable at the discretion of Management

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of banking sales experience in financial products.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Sales management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a field-based sales environment with frequent market visits.
  • Target-oriented, self-motivated, and performance-driven mindset.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the place of posting.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows and MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for account opening, deposit growth, and consumer financing.
  • Conduct daily customer and market visits for both new-to-bank and existing customers under Conventional and Islamic Banking.
  • Achieve assigned deposit targets through new-to-bank and existing customers and manage and grow the assigned deposit portfolio.
  • Manage the liability portfolio with a strong understanding of customer behavior, balance movements, and seasonal trends.
  • Identify attrition risks within the portfolio and take timely corrective actions to retain customer balances.
  • Achieve cross-selling targets for bank products, including consumer assets and insurance products.
  • Maintain high service quality standards while interacting with customers to ensure business retention.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues in an efficient, amicable, and resourceful manner.
  • Ensure tail management through activation of dormant accounts, Digital App and ATM activation, and deepening of tail accounts.
  • Participate in periodic mass Customer Contact Drives, Market Storming activities, and similar initiatives.
  • Maintain relevant MIS and business reports related to the assigned portfolio as required by management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable banking laws, instructions, regulations, and procedures.
  • Address audit requirements and observations related to business, both internal and external, and implement measures to minimize recurrence.
  • Ensure a Shariah-compliant environment is maintained at Islamic Banking windows within the region.
  • Ensure all processes are completed within the specified Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) according to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other assignment entrusted by the supervisor(s).

Assessment Test / Interview

Only shortlisted candidates who strictly meet the prescribed basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and/or panel interview(s).

Employment Terms & Benefits

The employment will be on a contractual basis for a period of three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of Management.

Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits according to the Bank’s policies and rules.
