The General Banking Officer will be responsible for managing branch banking operations, providing quality customer service, and ensuring accurate processing of banking transactions in accordance with established procedures.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Handle customers efficiently and provide quality branch services.
• Manage account opening, closures, dormancy, stop payments, account-related processes, and other banking operations.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and service requests within the required turnaround time.
• Process non-financial transactions accurately according to SOPs.
• Support cross-selling of relevant banking products and services.
• Prepare and maintain branch reports, registers, and operational records.
• Manage security stationery, fixed asset verification, cheque books, ATM cards, and other branch-related items.
• Process clearing instruments, fund transfers, telegraphic transfers, and related entries accurately.
• Support cash deposits, withdrawals, cash sorting, cash balancing, and vault-related operations as required.
• Ensure compliance with banking procedures, SBP regulations, and operational controls.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Line Manager.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Career Level: OG-II
