🎓 Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Supply Chain

Indus Hospital & Health Network is looking for a dedicated Officer, Procurement to join its Supply Chain Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, coordinating imports, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services while supporting smooth operational processes.

Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Master's Degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant procurement experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for laboratory fixed assets, imported items, and other assigned purchases.
• Review supplier quotations, compare pricing, and prepare comparative analyses.
• Maintain and update procurement databases, including work orders.
• Prepare import purchase orders and coordinate with vendors and local agents for timely deliveries.
• Liaise with the Finance Department for the processing of Letters of Credit (LCs) and Telegraphic Transfers (TTs).
• Coordinate with clearing agents and finance teams to facilitate shipment clearance from ports.
• Prepare work orders for repair and maintenance services while ensuring departmental approvals.
• Verify vendor pricing against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Conduct field visits when required to support procurement operations.
• Maintain organized records of purchase orders, work orders, and procurement documentation.
• Perform additional procurement-related duties assigned by the Supervisor.
