Nishat Chunian Limited is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to support supplier management, procurement, logistics, inventory coordination, and vendor development activities. The role involves ensuring a reliable supply chain while improving efficiency, quality, and procurement cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a reliable supplier network to ensure uninterrupted supply and smooth end-to-end logistics.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and coordinate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Track deliveries, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve supply, delivery, and quality-related issues.
• Monitor material quality and fuel blending activities according to required standards.
• Conduct supplier/site visits and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze supplier performance and procurement data to support informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate invoice and procurement records.
• Support vendor development initiatives and continuously improve supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and optimize supply chain processes.

Key Requirements

• B.E. in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in biomass procurement within the power or textile sector.
• Strong understanding of statistical and quality improvement tools, including 7QC, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Good knowledge of supply chain, procurement, supplier management, and inventory processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement-related data analysis.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
