Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is looking for a dedicated General Banking Officer (OG-III) to join its Branch Operations team at the Mardan Branch. This role is ideal for banking professionals who are passionate about customer service, branch operations, and delivering exceptional banking experiences while ensuring compliance with operational policies and regulatory standards.

As a General Banking Officer, you will support daily branch operations, manage customer requests, process non-financial transactions, assist with cash operations, maintain records, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high service quality standards.
• Handle account opening, account maintenance, closures, level migration, and other customer account-related operations.
• Process non-financial banking transactions accurately according to bank policies.
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve complaints within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
• Cross-sell banking products and guide customers to suitable financial services.
• Prepare operational reports for branch management and Head Office.
• Maintain branch records, registers, and operational documentation.
• Verify and manage branch fixed assets and administrative inventory.
• Ensure proper handling of security stationery, cheque books, ATM cards, and banking instruments.
• Process cheque clearing transactions and maintain accurate reconciliation records.
• Support teller operations whenever required.
• Handle cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and daily cash balancing in accordance with SBP regulations.
• Identify and report counterfeit currency.
• Maintain vault records, teller reports, cash balancing registers, and other operational documents.
• Perform additional duties assigned by branch management.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized and reputable institution.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience.

Preferred Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good understanding of branch banking operations.
• Knowledge of banking procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Accuracy in documentation and transaction processing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced banking environment.
