Nestlé Pakistan is seeking a motivated Fruits Sourcing Associate to strengthen its sustainable fruit sourcing operations in the Multan region. This field-based role focuses on building long-term partnerships with fruit growers, promoting Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), supporting orchard development, and ensuring a reliable, high-quality fruit supply. The successful candidate will also contribute to sustainability initiatives, food safety compliance, and market intelligence to support procurement objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide fruit farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) to improve productivity, quality, and sustainability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and other agricultural stakeholders.
• Identify and support the development of new orchards to strengthen long-term sourcing strategies.
• Monitor fruit production, crop conditions, market trends, availability, and pricing.
• Conduct sustainability assessments and maintain accurate project records using approved systems.
• Support the implementation of farm emission reduction initiatives.
• Promote water conservation practices, including drip irrigation and smart farming technologies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sustainability, regulatory, WHO Code, and Local Code requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve procurement and sourcing objectives.
• Prepare timely reports and maintain documentation related to sourcing, sustainability, and farmer engagement.
• Provide practical solutions to farmers while fostering long-term business partnerships.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's or Technical Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Food Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience working with farmers, agricultural projects, or rural communities.
• Knowledge of fruit sourcing, procurement, or agricultural supply chains.
• Good understanding of farming practices, rural markets, and farmer engagement.
• Familiarity with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), food safety, quality standards, and sustainable agriculture.
• Understanding of sustainability programs, farm assessments, emission reduction, and water conservation initiatives.
• Ability to analyze market trends, fruit availability, and pricing information.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture and rural community development.
