Beaconhouse School System is seeking a Student Wellbeing Counsellor for its Latifabad Campus, Hyderabad, to support students’ emotional wellbeing, resilience, mental health, and personal development.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students from Grades 6 to A Levels/IBDP.
• Support students dealing with stress, anxiety, bullying, and other wellbeing concerns.
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and implement safety-planning protocols according to school policy.
• Help students develop self-awareness, resilience, emotional regulation, and healthy coping strategies.
• Refer students requiring specialised or long-term support to appropriate external practitioners.
• Coordinate with parents when specialised student support is required.
• Lead and support proactive wellbeing initiatives, including anti-bullying programmes and EQ training.
• Collaborate with Sports, Arts, and Sustainability departments to integrate wellbeing practices across the school.
• Maintain accurate and confidential counselling records and reports in accordance with the Beaconhouse Wellbeing Policy.

• Strong understanding of counselling methodologies and adolescent development.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and suicide prevention protocols.
