Nestlé Pakistan is seeking an Area Sales Manager responsible for managing sales operations across an assigned area/territory, including field sales, distributors, and customers. The role focuses on achieving business targets, executing channel and category plans, developing sales teams, and ensuring compliance with Nestlé standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs for the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute field sales plans aligned with business strategies.
- Manage distributors and customers and oversee daily sales operations.
- Ensure effective execution of Channel & Category Sales Development (CCSD) initiatives at outlets/Points of Purchase.
- Provide accurate, timely market information and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé policies, principles, and standards.
- Coach, motivate, and develop distributor sales teams and Nestlé Direct Sales Force.
- Promote continuous improvement through Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) methodologies.
- Ensure effective placement and management of company assets, including chillers and vending machines.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in field sales and key account management.
- Experience in the Out-of-Home (OOH) channel will be highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, integrity, and performance-driven mindset.
- Good knowledge of:
- Channel & Category Sales Development (CCSD)
- Customer Management & Negotiation
- Distributor Handling & Trade Operations
- B2B / Out-of-Home Sales
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
