Durbeen is seeking dynamic and qualified educators to join the faculty of its 4-year B.Ed. Elementary Teaching Degree Program at the Government Elementary College of Education, Hussainabad Campus, Karachi.

The selected faculty member will be responsible for teaching relevant courses within the B.Ed. Elementary program and supervising teaching practice during either the Fall or Spring semester. The faculty member will report to the Vice Rector Academics.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction for assigned B.Ed. Elementary courses.
• Teach approximately three courses per year as a Full-Time Lecturer.
• Supervise and guide students during teaching practice.
• Prepare course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Support students in developing effective teaching and practical classroom skills.
• Contribute to academic activities and the overall development of the teacher education program.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Master’s / M.Phil. in the relevant subject or field.
• M.Ed. in Teaching / related fields, or M.Sc. / M.A. in a relevant subject area.

Experience:

• Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Applicants with 2+ years of teaching experience may be considered based on their academic background and subject specialization.
