The Bank is seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for the following position in the Compliance area, based in Karachi.
Job Details
Position: Compliance Officer - Roshan Digital Account (RDA)
Grade: OG-II / OG-I
Location: Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
Reporting To: Unit Head - Sanction Screening
Employment Type: Contractual, 3 years
Eligibility
Educational / Professional Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by HEC Pakistan.
- Candidates with a Master's degree, CGSS, or any other relevant professional certification will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of banking experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in sanctions screening and/or Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT).
Required Skills / Expertise
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or BI tools.
- Good understanding of banking operations, SBP regulations, and relevant banking laws.
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within strict deadlines.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and dispose of sanctions screening alerts generated in Safe Watch against RDA accounts within the defined TAT.
- Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) with business and operations teams where additional information is required to discount alerts.
- Escalate cases involving potential matches, suspected cases, or actual violations to the concerned Department Head for timely decision-making.
- Conduct regular health checks and reviews of the Safe Watch system and report identified gaps or issues to the Department Head for resolution.
- Maintain MIS records of alerts, RFIs raised, and responses received from business and operations teams.
- Perform any other assignments entrusted by the supervisor(s).
Assessment & Interview
Only shortlisted candidates who strictly meet the stated basic eligibility criteria will be invited for the assessment test and/or panel interview.
Employment Terms
The position will be offered on a contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of Management.
Selected candidates will receive a compensation package and other benefits in accordance with the Bank's policies and rules.
