Stylo Group is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership, strengthen financial governance, oversee treasury and working capital management, and support sustainable business growth. The role will work closely with the CEO, senior management, and Board while ensuring strong financial controls, compliance, reporting, and commercial performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Business Advisory

• Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CEO and senior management.
• Evaluate strategic investments, expansion plans, and business transformation initiatives.
• Recommend appropriate investment structures to support sustainable growth.

2. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Lead working capital, liquidity planning, and rolling cash-flow management.
• Ensure adequate financial resources are available for operations and growth.
• Oversee investor coordination and financial stakeholder engagement.

3. Financial Control, Governance & Asset Protection

• Safeguard company assets, liabilities, and overall financial integrity.
• Oversee accurate and timely P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls to minimize financial and operational risks.
• Establish and enforce CAPEX and OPEX approval authority matrices.
• Monitor inventory valuation, vendor liabilities, receivables, and working capital.
• Standardize financial SOPs to promote governance, transparency, and compliance.

4. Retail & Operational Finance Oversight

• Monitor key financial indicators including gross margin, EBITDA, and bottom-line performance.
• Support commercial decisions through FP&A, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Provide financial oversight of central store and receiving operations.
• Ensure accurate inventory and asset recording, safeguarding, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate retail audits and internal control reviews.
• Lead monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

5. Compliance, Taxation & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial consultants.
• Oversee import/export financial settlements, remittances, and regulatory documentation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.

6. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Monitoring

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
• Conduct financial analytics and business performance research.
• Monitor organizational KPIs and ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
• Track capital allocation efficiency and funding requirements for growth.

7. Corporate Governance & Strategic Board Support

• Ensure strong corporate governance, financial compliance, risk management, and ethical business practices.
• Act as Company Secretary by preparing financial reports, Board packs, and strategic presentations.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and the Board through accurate and timely reporting.

Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.

Experience
