We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior BI Engineer to join the Data Analytics – Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, semantic modelling, and modern BI technologies.

🎓 Eligibility & Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
• A qualification in Islamic Finance will be considered an added advantage.

💼 Experience Required

• 8–10 years of progressive experience in:
  • Business Intelligence
  • Data Analytics
  • Data Warehousing
• Experience within a large banking or financial institution will be preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • IBM Cognos
  • IBM Db2W
  • Enterprise Semantic Modelling
  • Self-Service BI

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, processes, KPIs, and analytical needs into reliable, scalable, and effective BI solutions.
• Design and manage the Enterprise Business Semantic Layer using IBM Db2W and Big SQL.
• Ensure consistency in business definitions, measures, dimensions, hierarchies, and KPIs.
• Lead the development and delivery of IBM Cognos reports, dashboards, analytics, and governed self-service BI solutions.
• Support approved BI platforms including Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and other relevant technologies.
• Optimize semantic models, reports, dashboards, and SQL workloads for improved performance and scalability.
• Support modern data technologies, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with relevant vendors and stakeholders when required.
