Meezan Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Takaful Officer to join its Country Operations, Operations Group at the Head Office in Karachi.

Eligibility

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized institute or university. Master's degree is preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding JAIBP certification.
• Qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of Takaful systems.
• Understanding of Takaful regulations.
• Familiarity with relevant policies and procedures.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the Bank's Takaful portfolio, including the Bankers Blanket Bond (BBB) Policy.
• Process and follow up on insurance claims, arrange interim coverage, and process policy endorsements.
• Coordinate policy renewals and maintain accurate insurance records.
• Intimate daily excess cash positions.
• Prepare management reports related to insurance matters.
• Perform other assignments delegated by the Line Manager.
