The Bank of Punjab is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and performance-driven professional for the position of Senior Officer Litigation – Central. The role involves managing the Bank’s litigation portfolio, providing legal support, handling court proceedings, and protecting the Bank’s legal interests before judicial and quasi-judicial forums.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and effectively handle the Bank’s litigation portfolio.
• Vet plaints, suits, petitions, writ petitions, appeals, replications, representations, and other legal documents.
• Handle matters before judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
• Provide legal support for settlement and compromise agreements.
• Support SAM and Operations teams in contentious matters.
• Coordinate with external counsels to ensure proper representation of the Bank.
• Liaise with relevant business units and relationship managers for timely provision of documents, information, and instructions.
• Attend important proceedings before Courts and other legal forums.
• Assist in improving the MIS of the Bank’s litigation portfolio.
• Support the Chief Legal Officer, Head Litigation, and Management in day-to-day legal affairs.
• Attend proceedings before subordinate and superior Courts and prepare case briefs.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

• Minimum LLB or relevant degree from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university/institute.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of banking laws required.

Age Limit:

• Up to 55 years as of the date of application.
