🎓 Qualification

• Minimum High School / Intermediate qualification.

• Strong interest and basic knowledge of jewelry, gemstones, metals, designs, and current fashion trends.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
• Good numerical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

💼 Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry, fashion, luxury retail, or department-store environments.
• Experience assisting customers in selecting jewelry according to their style, occasion, preferences, and budget.
• Proven ability to achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
• Experience in upselling, cross-selling, product presentation, and customer relationship management.
• Experience handling POS billing, cash/card transactions, and sales documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, product care, and basic sizing will be an advantage.
• Fresh candidates with strong communication, presentation, and sales skills may also be considered.

Job Description

• Welcome customers and provide personalized, professional service throughout their shopping experience.
• Understand customer preferences, requirements, occasion, and budget to recommend suitable jewelry products.
• Demonstrate and explain jewelry designs, materials, gemstones, features, care instructions, prices, and promotions.
• Achieve individual and departmental sales targets through effective selling techniques.
• Increase sales through upselling, cross-selling, and recommending complementary jewelry products.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of jewelry collections, new arrivals, promotions, prices, and product specifications.
• Ensure jewelry is properly displayed, organized, tagged, and presented according to visual merchandising standards.
• Handle jewelry products carefully and strictly follow security and loss-prevention procedures.
• Assist customers with product selection, fitting, sizing, and packaging where required.
• Operate the POS system and process customer transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate product, stock, and sales records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the relevant team for timely replenishment.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, exchanges, and service requests professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and premium presentation of the Jewelry Department.
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Follow company policies, grooming standards, security procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support promotional events, seasonal campaigns, and other departmental activities as required.
