Qualification

• CA (Part-Qualified), ACCA (Finalist), CMA (Finalist), or MBA (Finance/Accounting)

Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting, preferably in large organizations
• Experience in SAGE 100, Odoo, and MS Office Suite
• Strong understanding of IFRS/IAS related to fixed assets, depreciation, impairment, and disposals
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and cross-functional coordination skills
• Ability to present financial results clearly

Job Description

• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register, ensuring accuracy of capitalizations, depreciation, and disposals
• Record monthly capitalization entries, run depreciation processes, and reconcile balances with the general ledger
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS, company policies, and internal controls
• Record disposals, transfers, and impairments in line with accounting standards
• Provide schedules and reconciliations for internal and statutory audits
• Identify and implement improvements in asset accounting and reporting processes
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management
