The role involves ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with organizational procurement procedures.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of laboratory equipment, reagents, scientific consumables, and other direct materials.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Obtain and analyze quotations and prepare comparative statements for procurement decisions.
• Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Coordinate with laboratory and relevant departments to understand procurement requirements.
• Ensure the timely availability of required supplies and materials.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and relevant documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Support supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and procurement process improvements.
