METRO Pakistan is looking for a skilled Business Applications Specialist to collaborate with business stakeholders and deliver effective digital solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, customizing, maintaining, and supporting core business applications and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into effective digital solutions.
• Develop, configure, customize, and maintain core digital applications.
• Provide user support, training, and guidance for METRO applications.
• Manage applications including BI/DWH, CRM, POS, Retail Applications (MMS), and ERP.
• Create and manage reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy and QlikView.
• Manage integrations between different digital solutions.
• Act as the primary contact for resolving application-related issues.
• Develop and maintain reports and custom objects in MicroStrategy.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and protection of business data.
• Perform monthly and yearly closing activities for different applications.
• Coordinate and support international projects.
• Lead technical implementations with international colleagues and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to business processes.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of databases including Oracle, Teradata, and DANA/GCP.
• Experience with MicroStrategy and Business Intelligence applications.
• Knowledge of CRM and POS systems.
• Experience with Teradata, SQL, and MS SQL.
• Knowledge of data migration and system integration.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP Financials and Invoice modules.
• Knowledge of BI development, including Metadata, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Strong understanding of retail business operations and processes.
• Experience working with digital platforms.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience working with digital platforms and business applications.
