The VM Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining visual merchandising standards across assigned stores and locations. The role ensures that products, displays, promotional materials, and store layouts are presented attractively and consistently in accordance with company standards and brand guidelines.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Retail Management, Fashion, Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Certification or Diploma in Visual Merchandising will be an added advantage.
• Strong creative sense and a good understanding of colors, layouts, product presentation, and space utilization.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of design or visualization software will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to different stores and outlets as required.

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, Store Management, or a similar role.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, supermarkets, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods environments will be preferred.
• Hands-on experience in store displays, product arrangement, planograms, promotional displays, POSM, and seasonal campaigns.
• Experience coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Store Operations, and Warehouse teams will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute visual merchandising plans and guidelines across assigned stores and outlets.
• Arrange products, shelves, racks, counters, and promotional displays to improve product visibility and customer engagement.
• Implement seasonal, promotional, festive, and campaign-based displays.
• Ensure proper placement of price tags, signage, POSM, promotional materials, and product information.
• Maintain consistent visual merchandising standards across all assigned locations.
• Conduct regular store visits and VM audits to identify gaps and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with Store Operations, Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, and other relevant departments.
• Support new store openings, renovations, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Ensure products are clean, properly arranged, adequately stocked, and visually appealing.
• Monitor the condition and availability of display fixtures, signage, and visual merchandising materials.
• Report damaged fixtures, missing materials, stock issues, and other merchandising concerns to the relevant department.
• Ensure outdated promotional materials are removed and replaced on time.
• Maintain records of visual merchandising activities, store visits, displays, and required materials.
• Ensure displays are safe and do not obstruct customer or staff movement.
• Travel to assigned stores and outlets to provide on-site visual merchandising support as required.
• Perform other VM-related duties assigned by management.
